Flooded Fields

Lac Saint-Pierre, is an area of the Saint-Lawrence River that widens enough to be called a Lake. In the Spring of 2011 the waters had swollen to the point of leaping over banks and flooding fields. A great visual opportunity for someone on a jon boat armed with a camera. May 2011. Nikon D300, Nikkor 28-300mm FX @42mm; f10, 1/500s ISO200   Copyright Fritschi © Photographs...

Cigar Woman.

Trip to Havana, 2009. Cigars seem to be a part of everyone’s daily life. Whether rolling them, smoking them, dancing with them or just peddling them, they are omnipresent and this lady knows how to put on a good face. . Canon G9   Copyright Fritschi © Photographs 2000-2016

Red Fox

During a walking tour of the Boucherville Islands near Montreal, this red fox actually let me approach him close enough to obtain this great shot. The closest camera at hand was the D300 with the FX 28-300mm f3.5-5.6.Very handy rig able to provide a 35mm equivalent of 450mm at the long end.
